ATD has launched a new metro-style train seat. The Quantum M100 successfully completed crash testing at MIRA for GMRT2100 Issue 5 at the first time of testing. This seat has been developed by the team at ATD over a period of seven months entirely on CAE with no prototypes. Martin Sellen, Business Development Manager of ATD, said, "This will provide train operators with the safest, lightest seat in the market and will create exciting new opportunities for ATD in the rail industry".
The seat is now in service on an Eversholt 321 demonstrator train, operated by Greater Anglia. Please click on the link to see more.
